For Mum.

For our wonderful Mum, whose funeral was held on Friday 21st August.

Mum took her final journey and is now on a new adventure. She will watch over us until it is our time to take the journey and join her.

Will always love her and remember her.

I will remember you with a Daughter’s love,

although heartache and distance have kept us apart.

I will not think of you as dead,

Just that you have left the room.

I will smile with love when I think of you,

and the funny things you did and said.

I know you will be there to watch over me,
And be there when I feel lonely.

You will be there when I look in the mirror.

Saying, “How strong and courageous I am today”.

You will be there when I have a fall,

arms open wide to hug me.

I will remember you on my good days, bad days,

happy and sad days.

I will smile when I pass your photograph,

So that I may see the sparkle in your eyes

I shall not weep for you,

For I know you have not gone, you have just left the room.

If you talk to me, I will hear you.

I will listen to your every word.

I will only cry for you with a smile and the love that I have for you Mum.

I will remember you my beautiful, precious Mum.

For you will always be there for me,

Because you have only left the room.
