  1. I recall it being bad between Bulls Bridge and Southall. An elderly ethnically Indian male was throwing bread from a plastic bag to the ducks and swans from the towpath. When the bread was gone he threw in the bag and walked away.

    We mentioned the sea of rubbish to the staff at Willowtree Marina when we stopped for a pumpout and the comment was "Oh yes.... The Ganges!!!

    Lovely to hear from you.
    It is such a shame our waterways are used as dumping grounds. I realise this is nothing new, but you would think by now people would have learnt that it is not acceptable.
