The Wandering Duck.

Let me introduce you to Mark and Ruth who own their 69 ft narrow boat Rakiraki. Mark and Ruth have just started up The Wandering Duck canal trips for budget travellers. All the information on their trips can be found on their website. We first met them coming up the Meaford Flight on the Trent and Mersey. New to boating apart from hiring, they were soon in their element. We then cruised through Harecastle Tunnel with them, before meeting up with again at Bugsworth Basin which is their base.
Mark and Ruth are full of enthusiasm and we wish them all the luck in the world with their new adventure. They have such a wonderful idea, which should work very well, so if you are a budget traveller and want a taster to life on the canal, book with The Wandering Duck.
