Saltisford Arm to the top of Hatton.

Today was the day we set off on our travels.

We said cheerio to our mooring for a few months and set off up the Hatton Flight locks with Tom & Lyn on Moonstone, who were moored at Saltisford for the Winter.

Half way up the flight we stopped in lock 36 and had to wait for CRT to finish clearing away the works at lock 38, so we had an impromtu party. I enjoyed a beer and keith had a coffee and then the nibbles and cake came out. We had a wonderful hour or so whilst we waited.

When CRT had  finished clearing away their boats etc we set off again.

Lyn and Tom and their friend Denise who joined us as a lock wheeler, were an absolute joy to be with.
