Another drowning.

At the moment we seem to be caught in a tide of drownings and sinking's. I have just read of another tragic loss.

We were all young once, actually I am still young in mind, it is just my body which is getting old. Even as a teenager, I had to take responsibility for my own safety. Common sense had to be used at all times. But it seems these days no one will take responsibility for their own actions and decisions. Water in any form can be dangerous, so if you take the decision to dive into a weir you have to face the fact that you may not surface and this was the case with this 14 year old young man. I am sincerely sorry for his friends and family who must be going through a difficult time at the moment.
With all these things happening at the moment you fear for what legislation is going to be dumped on us now. No matter what age, this does all come down to parenting and common sense.

My thoughts are with his family at this time.
