Art but not as we know it.

Is this art???
If you are visiting the Oxford Canal at Braunston this month (August) you may well see a one-off art installation, which will be in place for just two weeks.
Seven Spires, by environmental artist Steve Messam, consists of seven red spires, each 4.5m tall, made of wood and fabric and illuminated at night. I think there may be some who see this as a waste of money. But each to their own and I am sure it will be pleasure to many.
Seven Spires was commissioned as part of FLOW, an art project based around the waterways of Northamptonshire.
